    League of Women Voters of Ames and Story County Book Club In , co-presidents Mary Jo Brearley and Ruth Jones gathered together members who were interested in beginning a League reading group. The group has grown as more and more persons have become interested. Books are selected by the membership for the following year during the May meeting. The Women’s Football Yearbook includes an entry on each of the top 90 English league teams and also covers European and international results. Club captains have also been invited to contribute to the book, with photos from many of the clubs featured.

As a younger woman, Ms. Lepkoff was a member of the Photo League, the pioneering movement of the s and ’40s whose work is the focus of more than one current exhibition, including “The Radical Camera: New York’s Photo League ,” at the Jewish Museum.
